Emergency Plumbing Guidance and Service

A plumbing problem can become urgent when it threatens safety, causes active water damage, creates a sewage backup, or leaves a property without essential water service. Atlas Plumbing Services LLC serves Long Beach and nearby listed communities during published business hours. Call (562) 662-5758 to check current availability.

If you smell gas

Leave the building immediately. From a safe location, call 911 or your gas utility. Do not operate switches, use flames, or return inside until emergency personnel say it is safe. After the immediate hazard has been addressed, call a licensed plumber if plumbing work is needed.

Limit water damage safely

  • If it is safe to do so, close the nearest fixture shutoff or the main water shutoff.
  • Keep people away from standing water near electrical equipment.
  • Move valuables away from the affected area without entering an unsafe space.
  • Do not use fixtures connected to a sewage backup.

Problems that may need prompt attention

  • Burst or leaking pipes
  • Sewage backups
  • Water heater leaks
  • Loss of water service
  • Overflowing fixtures that cannot be stopped

What to tell us when you call
